Dr. Jan Klesko graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1982. He has been in private practice in Edmonton for over twenty-nine years. Dr. Klesko attended the University of Alberta for five years and graduated with Bachelor degrees in Education/ Physical Education and Arts/Psychology. He played football while at the U of A for the Golden Bears and junior football for the Edmonton Wildcats from 1971 to 1974.

Dr. Klesko has taken the Sports Physician Certification Program (CCSP) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Klesko has a special interest in treating athletes with sport related injuries. Dr. Klesko enjoys cycling and working out at the local YMCA.

Dr. Klesko is proficient in Gonstead and Thompson techniques for treatment of lower back dysfunction and uses Pierce/Stillwagon Technique for treatment and correction of neck curve alteration due to traumatic injury (whiplash). He is also proficient in Diversified and Pettibon techniques. He uses Toftness technique as a low force option for infants and special cases.

Dr. Klesko is one of the founding Doctors and has been a director and practicing chiropractor at Avenue Clinic since 1985.

Dr. Klesko works at Avenue Chiropractic Clinic from Tuesday through Saturday. He works extended hours on Thursday evening and on Saturday until 2:00 pm.
